It is interesting to note that those who term criticism of Dr McLeod's work as "personal" or "not academic" or "biased" fail to judge Dr McLeod's work by the same yardstick.
1. Does Dr McLeod's work meet academic standards?
2. Is it written with a Presbyterian Christian missionary bias?

On question 1, there is evidence for everyone to see in his works that at most places where he dismisses the prevailing view, the only supporting argument/evidence he offers is his "skeptic methodology". That is to say -- "guilty until proven innocent". The onus to disprove his notions is thus put on the Sikhs while he carries no burden to prove his own contentions.

On question 2, the answer follows from 1, that he does so with an ulterior motive. If the Sikhs need to prove Dr McLeod wrong about his notions, then Dr McLeod needed to prove the Sikhs wrong about his missionary bias. He sought to do exactly that by claiming to be an "atheist". But that does not explain why he continues to be on the register of Presbytarian Church's register as "Rev W H McLeod". And why he continued to head Church's History Committee till 2004.

You Guessed right, it was the dominant form of Judaism in over 1600 years until the 20th century and much of the jewish literature produced over this time was supporting the Orthodox view, of course there are still Karaites and Samaritans with differing views but I don't have access to the literature of these groups, now there are also some dissenting groups, they are the dominant faction in the jewish community here in Brazil, but they lack any form of literature like that of the Orthodox jews, this in part explain the haredization that the jewish community has faced in the last 40 years here in São Paulo.

Quite interesting -- from your use of the word Seforim I am guessing that you studied under the Orthodox stream of Judaism?

I Learned Classical Hebrew, to read, with a lexicon at hand, the Hebrew Bible, the Mishnah and some others Seforim (Writings of the Rabbis in the past). Modern Hebrew have some different linguistic constructions and a much broader and abstract vocabulary that is not present in Classical Hebrew.

LOL...I am awestruck at your commitment to study a new philosophy/religion/worldview in original. Did you learn modern Hebrew or Classical?
Regarding learning about Sikh worldview, please see the link below:
http://www.sikhs.org/english/frame.html

It is the English translation of Sikh scripture. Though it is difficult to convey the depth of thought of original Punjabi in English translation, if you ponder the statements, and relate them to each other, keeping in mind the creedal lines --"ONE UNIVERSAL CREATOR GOD.THE NAME IS TRUTH.CREATIVE BEING PERSONIFIED. NO FEAR. NO HATRED.IMAGE OF THE UNDYING, BEYOND BIRTH,SELF-EXISTENT.BY GURU'S GRACE" you should be able to get the real sense of Sikh worldview.

The website www.sikhs.org has a lot of other useful material available.
